Pendant la phase de chauffe de la <strong>chaudi\u00e8re \u00e9lectrique<\/strong>, l\u2019eau se dilate. Cela occasionne une variation de volume dans le conduit central de chauffage. Cette dilatation de l\u2019eau en circuit ferm\u00e9 provoque une \u00e9l\u00e9vation de la pression, ce qui peut \u00eatre dommageable pour la chaudi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Le vase d\u2019expansion est la solution face \u00e0 ce risque de d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration, puisqu&rsquo;il permet d\u2019absorber les variations de volume d\u2019eau et maintenir une pression quasi stable dans la chaudi\u00e8re. Il \u00e9vite ainsi la surpression (lorsque l&rsquo;eau chauffe) et la d\u00e9pression (lorsque l\u2019eau refroidie) dans le circuit central du chauffage .<\/p>\n<h2>O\u00f9 s\u2019installe un vase d\u2019expansion ?<\/h2>\n<p>Un <strong>vase d\u2019expansion<\/strong> a l\u2019aspect d&rsquo;un cylindre en m\u00e9tal. Il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement raccord\u00e9 <strong>sur le retour de l\u2019eau de chauffage par le haut<\/strong> afin que l\u2019eau qui se trouve en contact avec la membrane soit moins chaude. Sous le vase d\u2019expansion est plac\u00e9e une valve qui permet de gonfler l\u2019enveloppe de gaz.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de son installation (s&rsquo;il n&rsquo;est pas directement int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 la chaudi\u00e8re mais install\u00e9 \u00e0 posteriori), le vase d\u2019expansion devra \u00eatre gonfl\u00e9 \u00e0 la bonne pression <strong>avant la mise en eau du circuit de chauffage<\/strong>. Son volume et sa pression seront finement calcul\u00e9s par l\u2019installateur, en fonction de la puissance de la chaudi\u00e8re et de la hauteur de l\u2019installation.<\/p>\n<h2>Quels sont les diff\u00e9rents types de vases d\u2019expansion ?<\/h2>\n<p>On d\u00e9nombre essentiellement deux familles de vases d\u2019expansion : <strong>ferm\u00e9s et ouverts<\/strong>, lesquels peuvent \u00eatre <strong>\u00e0 pression variable<\/strong>. Ceux qu\u2019on retrouve g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement sur les chaudi\u00e8res \u00e9lectriques sont les <strong>vases d&rsquo;expansion ferm\u00e9s \u00e0 pression variable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ces derniers se distinguent ensuite en deux types de vase : <strong>les vases \u00e0 vessie et les vases \u00e0 membrane<\/strong>. Les vases \u00e0 vessie pr\u00e9sentent une <strong>meilleure \u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9<\/strong>. Ils ne permettent pas le contact entre l\u2019eau contenue dans le circuit et les parois du vase. Cela limite le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de corrosion qui cause des d\u00e9g\u00e2ts \u00e0 l\u2019installation.<\/p>\n<h2>Les dangers d\u2019un vase d\u2019expansion d\u00e9fectueux<\/h2>\n<p>Un vase d\u2019expansion <strong>d\u00e9fectueux<\/strong> entra\u00eene en premier lieu une baisse de pression dans le circuit central de chauffage. Ensuite son mauvais fonctionnement augmente le risque d\u2019embouage de la chaudi\u00e8re. Or, la boue de chauffage est connue pour son effet d\u00e9sastreux sur l\u2019installation.
